Well, yes. The Bible does say that anyone who denies that Jesus Christ is "The Christ" is an "Anti-Christ."

I think that's pretty obvious, though. It's like if you deny that the government is good, you're anti-government (that's very broad, you could be agains the current elected government, against any system of government, etc,). If you hate alcohol you're anti-alcohol, etc,.

I reserve the right to be "anti-Christ" if it is by definition denying that Jesus is the Christ. However, I, like everyone else in The Zeitgeist Movement I've ever spokent to have no problem with others believing in Christ as their saviour -- so long as they don't want to force it upon others (theocracy), and that doesn't mean you can't preach it ... just don't turn it into a system of government like the Vatican was for 1600 years. I think you as a Mormon understand that, after-all the Church encourages agency -- the right to accept or reject Christ -- and that the choice to accept Christ must be a choice made personally by revelation through the spirit, right?

It's not that I absolutely deny the possiblity of Jesus Christ, I don't. I read the Bible (and yes, I've read the Book of Mormon and actually found it more enjoyable than the Bible) quite often and I'm open to it. All I want is one example, one testimony of the truth of it from what you call the "Holy Spirit." I've never had it, and unless I have it without a doubt I wont change my views -- I don't think there's any good reason to.

I mean, if a Muslim was on here and had a link to their Islamic website -- would you ask them "Why is that anti-Christ link in your signature?" By definition Muslims are anti-Christ because they deny that he is the Son of God (Muslims believe that God could not possibly come in the flesh, but only send messengers) and Savior of the world.

Brenton.

Ahhh brenton! name change? we've talked before?  Apologies if you aren't LDS? I was under the assumption that you were. One of my goals is to inform people of the deceptive teachings and leanings of popular groups, Groups that promote New Age spirituality, which seems principled and worthy, but is in fact from a different source entirely (and is gaining ground especially amongst Christians, the reason I focus on this movement is because it is deceptive, and it's 'end goals' are, how to term it... opressive). I hope your search for truth, in all things, Leads you closer to God, and that He will aid you in discerning truth. I look forward to conversing with you more, I enjoy talking to people with open minds who are forward thinking.

Hey there, Why has your signature got links to new age, anti christian movements? don't mean to be rude, just would like to know as these groups may seem well meaning, but mingle 'lies'  with their 'truths'

Saying that The Zeitgeist Movement is anti-Christian is like saying that we're anti-football because we see a competition based economy as detrimental to human unity.

It's like saying that Obama is the anti-Christ because he doesn't profess faith in Jesus.

Anti Christ is someone/something that denies that Christ? yes?

Hi Aesa,

I wanted you to see this post. You responded to my opening post, and I responded inappropriately, thinking it was another thread I had started.

I hope people will see this post and know I was wrong; however, I wanted to make sure you saw it for sure.

I would say that the people of Park county are heavenly! it's just that some of our government could use some tweaking. Our city council is throwing their money into everyone's faces for nothin', and I'm hating that. hopefully it changes since we've had the elections.
