Hi Annie

Its a pleasure to have helped in any way. I cant say with any certainty why I read your blog that night, I had only joined this community a few days before. The Lord truly can move in mysterious ways. Hope you ar doing well and feeling spiritually fit.

All the best

Pete

Thank you so much for your kind comments. You'll see in the next part of my blog why they have actually helped me in ways that you probably never thought of as you wrote them! Isn't it wonderful how the Spirit works sometimes through perfect strangers?

Take care for now

Annie my name is Pete and I just finsihed reading aprt of your blog. As an outsider I just wanted you to know that what you have been through is miraculous in many ways. Mostly because you are still here, still accepting what the Spirit has whispered to your heart. There are many who have fallen by the wayside when faced with similair issues to yours. Their faith was not planted in good soil. It sounds as though your faith has taken root even though you have experienced much hardship. Know too that the Lord loves us all and He is intimate with our thoughts and desires. Many times in life we become frustrated with the perceived behavior or actions of others, even those who mean well or are close to us. These experiences are sent to test and create us. I am a father to a 6 year old bundle of joy (and energy). I have been married twice in the church and both times my partner has left me and left the church ( not through my doing). There have been moments when I wondered why the Lord would allow this to happen to me. But I have come to learn through time and through the Spirit that these things happen not because of Him, but because of free agency. People are free to choose and sometimes others are hurt, offended and heartbroken. Trust that if He could the Lord would not want you to experience these things. But because He knows that others make choices that affect us, He was willing to please on our behalf with the Father. He plead for you and for me until racked with pain His body wept. I have come to understand that we all have similair feelings to what you expressed. We all have moments of inner weakness and moments of great strength. The Lord asks us to strive for perfection, to seek out that which is good. As we do this He willl place bridges in our lives that will remove us from those things that would harm us. I bear you my testimony of that, for He has done it unto me, one of the least.

Pete
