When my father passed away, in December of 2008, I inherited, among other things, a very fine microscope. I've made the discovery that if I point a cheap digital camera down into this microscope, I can get much better pictures than I would previously have thought possible by such crude methods. This has now become a fairly prominent hobby of mine.
I've been posting the better of my pictures in a thread on the James Randi forum at this URL:

    or

You have to create an account there to see the pictures, which isn't any more difficult than creating an account here on this site was. Be warned that there are many in that forum who are hostile toward religion in general. That forum is about skepticism in things paranormal. I'm skeptical about such things as UFOs, conspiracy theories, alternative medicine, and other crackpot stuff, so I fit in well enough on those subjects. But among that group, religion tends to be lumped in with the paranormal, and regarded by many with the same derision as these other things.

I work for a very old, very famous company. We are most famous for canned soup. Think of the very first brand of canned soup that comes to mind. Yes, *THAT* company!
I used to be a computer programmer/data analyst, but now I am a forklift operator. Oddly, I enjoy my new profession more than I did my old. I can still play with computers as a hobby. Forklifting doesn't work well as a hobby. I live in a small apartment, and my landlady wouldn't like what it would do to the floors.
 Seanette is my wife.
