Besides English - Syldavian, Klingon, Franglais, Pig Latin. I'd really like to learn that Adamic language if anybody has a dictionary they could lend me.

Anything by Ayn Rand, Isaac Asimov, Douglas Adams, Arthur C. Clarke, Kurt Vonnegut, Terry Pratchett - whoa I just realized they are all atheists. Is there a trend here?

I lean more to the heavy side, but it depends on what my mood is. I'm pretty well open to most kinds of music.

Reading, Thinking, Eating, Sleeping, More Reading... the usual stuff.

I'm just going to school and enjoying life. I think I've become a professional student with several degrees and now working on a PhD. Yes, I'm agnostic but I think I'm a pretty good person. I respect others and think this short life is better if you follow your Golden Rule - treat others like you would like them to treat you. I'll admit that the thought that this life is it and then you just return to the elements is sort of depressing. Why bother? There could be a god. I wish I knew, but seriously doubt there is any way to know...

RedEyz.. have you gotten 40 winks yet?LOL.. How are you? I've been busy on a new project, I just got a new TV series, (LDS) I'm psyched! (I'm an actress, tv/film etc) i took time off from school to do high school musical 3 etc. soooo where are you with your beliefs today? I would love to talk to you sometime via email (my private email) about God and the universe. I mean my PERSONAL experiences, they are very sacred redeye and although I can't share most of them, their are some that I am permitted to share and would like to share with you. When a person has faith, that faith is blessed with actual evidence that what they seek is real. It's like my scientific experiments: i start i w/ a premise: i end with a conclusion.. so with GOd: there is an answer: He either created this universe and all that it is in it.. or the created the Big bang etc.. or if He didn't than WHO put that "ball" that expanded and exploded there to begin with??? things didnt' just POP into existence any more than my lab ingredients "popping" into the various glass cylinders.

well, anyway.. you get the point.. When someone does not have ANY faith, God will not perform miracles and prove His existence to that person. This is because He will  not force himself on anyone. We are here in this existence to learn and grow and find things out for ourselves. That's part of growth. I pray and hope you will find Him, He is real, and I've experienced things that noone could tell me were not based in reality. I don't take drugs, I'm very healthy and have a GREAT brain, yet the things I've seen and experienced (I am talking about out of body experience and life after death) were REAL. It changed my life, redeye. These experiences can be yours, IF you seek them for yourself, millions have, please read about them online etc. keep looking into th LDS Church. Therein lies ALL the answers literally. As you seek, Ye shall find. I promise you. Pray, what do you have to loose? if you think it is talking to yourself, so what, I actually pray AND talk to myselfLOL..You are not, however, talking to yourself when you are in the mode of prayer. Just say: Heavenly Father, I don't know if you are real, I want to know, please reveal yourself to me and let me know if you are real., in the name of Jesus Christ, Amen." Please always, say in the Name of Jesus Christ. There is real power in the message being delivered I  promise you. Just give it a whirl, you have NOTHING to loose, EVERYTHING to gain. I'm not saying you will or will not have a vision, I am saying that if you pray this prayer everyday, really WANT to know.. You WILL know redeye.. I felt very guided to go to your page today, after months of not thinking about this site etc. I'm in the middle of my TV series etc.. that IS how God works, through others, sometimes. SOmetimes, directly. I have experienced BOTH. You can too. Love and friendship KItty:)

It's so great to hear that you are doing well!  And I continue to love your broad mind!  It is so wonderful to know that there are people out there whom, lacking either faith or particular religious practice, have such enthusiasm about one of the most criticized literary doctrines in existence, the Book of Mormon.

With the music: I'm glad you're getting a kick out of it.  Man, music is an essential part of my life.  I mean, the pop culture of the 70s continues to grant my astonishment and a sense of nostalgia that makes me believe that I was born in that era.  What a great gift music remains.

I am listening to Rush as I speak - Xanadu

This is one of the greatest epics in the progressive genre

Huge Boston kick as well.  Those first two albums of theirs... Ahh!

Hello Redeye.  Thanks for the friends request.

You certainly are a unique individual!  That's a good thing of course.

As for my taste in music: yes, I love the classic stuff.  Right now, I am on a big old school hip hop kick.  Treacherous Three, Crash Crew, Grandmaster Flash & The Furious Five, none of the new stuff.  You certainly are not alone.  Old school music (and I don't mean just hip hop) is where it's at!
