Besides English - Syldavian, Klingon, Franglais, Pig Latin. I'd really like to learn that Adamic language if anybody has a dictionary they could lend me.

Anything by Ayn Rand, Isaac Asimov, Douglas Adams, Arthur C. Clarke, Kurt Vonnegut, Terry Pratchett - whoa I just realized they are all atheists. Is there a trend here?

I lean more to the heavy side, but it depends on what my mood is. I'm pretty well open to most kinds of music.

Reading, Thinking, Eating, Sleeping, More Reading... the usual stuff.

I'm just going to school and enjoying life. I think I've become a professional student with several degrees and now working on a PhD. Yes, I'm agnostic but I think I'm a pretty good person. I respect others and think this short life is better if you follow your Golden Rule - treat others like you would like them to treat you. I'll admit that the thought that this life is it and then you just return to the elements is sort of depressing. Why bother? There could be a god. I wish I knew, but seriously doubt there is any way to know...

It's so great to hear that you are doing well!  And I continue to love your broad mind!  It is so wonderful to know that there are people out there whom, lacking either faith or particular religious practice, have such enthusiasm about one of the most criticized literary doctrines in existence, the Book of Mormon.

With the music: I'm glad you're getting a kick out of it.  Man, music is an essential part of my life.  I mean, the pop culture of the 70s continues to grant my astonishment and a sense of nostalgia that makes me believe that I was born in that era.  What a great gift music remains.

I am listening to Rush as I speak - Xanadu

This is one of the greatest epics in the progressive genre

Huge Boston kick as well.  Those first two albums of theirs... Ahh!

Hello Redeye.  Thanks for the friends request.

You certainly are a unique individual!  That's a good thing of course.

As for my taste in music: yes, I love the classic stuff.  Right now, I am on a big old school hip hop kick.  Treacherous Three, Crash Crew, Grandmaster Flash & The Furious Five, none of the new stuff.  You certainly are not alone.  Old school music (and I don't mean just hip hop) is where it's at!
