BOOKS
I love the Book of Mormon, seriously, I do enjoy reading my scriptures...ok so its better when doing it with friends, family or in a group but its still fun.

Chris Moyles (minus the bad language) he is funny. Chris is a UK top radio station dj and funny, humble (off air) and very likeable.

My Dear Sisters by Pres. Hinckley, this is such a great inspirational read on any off days I have.

MUSIC
I totally love Hilary Weeks, Toby Keith, Shania Twain, Darren Hayes and Billy Hufsey.

MOVIES
Unlikely Angels (Christmas movie that brings a family together)

You got Mail (Typical chick flick)

It's a Wonderful Life (Good oldie about sense of worth, fighting against the odds and true, honest victory)

I love Christmas movies, period dramas and old black and white movies, I also like police programmes such as Fringe, Law & Order, CSI, Bones, etc.

HOBBIES
Designing and teaching scrapbooking projects
Small needlework projects such as finger puppets with my kids
Reading
Writing
Play fighting with my younger two kids (the older two beat me so I dont challenge them anymore!! lol)
Being in company that is anything but negative and offisive to my spirit.
Helping my mature friend (82 yrs) especially on her cynical days...I add this here because I love her to bits yet she SO challenges me!! Lol

ABOUT ME
Hmm, I'm not too great at these things but here goes!

I am a mum of 4, my boys are 19, 18 and 4 and my daughter is 12. I am divorced and living the single life with bitter lemons and sugar!! ;)

I work from home so I can be around for my kids, at least until my youngest is in full time school then I shall rethink, its not the best option for me as I like to be around people more than I have been.

I am a mix of nuts, I am a variety of compassion, humour, emotions, logic, bad jokes, silly incidents and all manner of things that a daughter of God crosses paths with in life!

I love reading, scrapbooking, photography, the scriptures, homemaking, walking, baking, doing service, being with my family & friends, bbq's in the dark and anything that just makes life that lil more happy and interesting.

I love, love, love making new friends, getting to know people and do my bit towards a better world...even if its only in my living room...it all counts towards the greater good.

Lol, sorry to hear about your leg, hope it gets better soon.  It's ages since I went to a pub, let alone a pub crawl, so I'm gonna be very nervous if I actually make it on Saturday..also, going off my bank account today, I won't have any money for the nite out, so will probz stay in and watch Casualty..like I always do :)


I've given up trying to tidy my daughter's bedroom..she's 20 now, and doesn't want anyone to intefere with her mess..the other day she said she realised it was untidy..piles of clothes and other stuff on the floor, but that it made her feel safe being among all the mess, lol..you can't win!!
