My favorite books to read are, yes believe it or not, The Scriptures.

I actually think out of all the standard works I love The Doctrine and Covenants the most. Well, wait a minute, you gotta love The Book of Mormon. Now, hold on The Old Testament is really an awesome book, I have found that studying it is totally cool. OK, never mind, I have no favorite.

I love to read church history and have loved Bushmans book, Rough Stone Rolling. I have also just stumbled onto Denver Snuffer's books and would recommend them to anyone, just make sure you start with his first one, The Second Comforter.

Just recently I was given an incredible opportunity to read a book called, 777 The Book of Seals Understanding the Apocalyptic Book of Revelations It is written by an author named Mike Jones. He offers the book free of charge so you might want to check it out.

I love all kinds of music. I unfortunately like the beat of HipHop but the words disgust me most of the time. I wish they would clean it up a bit.

I naturally love MOTAB The Mormon Tabernacle Choir Americas Choir

My favorite movie is Oh Brother, Where Art Thou.

Every time I watch it I laugh my head off, in fact it still brings me to tears. Make sure if you watch it though, you listen to every word they say or you will miss the one liners.

I am a true "nerd". I love to read church books, and do genealogy. Recently my hobbies have included posting HUBS about the gospel on a site called Hubpages.com. In The Doghouse on HubPages

I also love spending time with my family. My favorite vacation spot is Lake Powell and I can tell you How to Have The Best Lake Powell Vacation Ever, Highest Water Level In Six Years and "My Doghouse." We have two Nautique boats and love to wake board and water ski. (one for each! lol)

Lastly, I love to teach the gospel. It rocks.

I was raised a member of The Church Of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, although my conversion to the gospel came later in my life.

My husband and I were raised in the same stake in California, and believe it or not, started dating because of our attendance in our Young Adult Ward together. (Yes, it is possible to meet your spouse at a Young Adult ward!)

I have two wonderful children, both in college, and two "adopted" children who being recently converted to the gospel (and the only members in their immediate family) have adopted us too, living with us most of the time. They are college age also, so needless to say, I have a house full of college age kids all the time.

To top it off I am a member of a Young Single Adult Branch along with my husband, so have a lot of experience with younger adults than I. Right now it seems that all my friends are between the ages of 19 and 31. After teaching seminary for 7 years, I now teach Institute and love to discuss the scriptures with my friends.

I have a fantastic pet, a Yellow Lab named "Nick" and the kids all say he is the "favorite child." (they constantly rank each other on the ladder of favorites.)

I have recently started "Blogging" and sharing my testimony on the internet. It is really an awesome experience.

Hwey dog i have a good question for you. My husband has been unfairly accused of something. the bishop brought it up to him today. When my husband asked to confront his accusers the bishop refused to let him. i know somewhere in the doctrin and covenants it is stated that we have the right to confront our accusers in a meeting with the bishop or maybe the stake president. can you help me find this.

Thanks. I have received some good feedback on the book. I have been told that it is one that every missionary should read. I have also been told that it is a good easy read. It is written in a way that anyone can understand whether they are LDS or not. I think that most of us, at some point or another, experience occasions where a family member, friend or co-worker has asked a difficult question about the gospel from the Bible and perhaps we did not know how to answer it. This book provides thorough answers to some of those questions. It could also be a good pass-along book. I believe it to be a great testimony builder/strengthener. I certainly learned a lot during my research. If you would like specifics on it that are not answered at my website, I'd be happy to provide you with them.

I'm also a true "nerd". I like reading non-fiction books, mostly gospel oriented, and I have a ton of geneology work! Being first generation LDS has a lot of geneological responsiblity associated with it . I enjoy it though... especially doing the temple work.
