Being from Providence, was Gibbs was your ancestor?  I believe Brigham came to America with one of the Elders shot at Cane Creek--I can't remember if it was Gibbs or not.  Anyway, I love Roberts' autobiography--it is the most entertaining book I've ever read.

I came to this site primarily in an effort to try and locate  some of the old friends I knew  and/or baptized while on an LDS mission to southern England in the late 1970s. If amyone here happens to live in the area`s of Hythe, Southhampton, Christchurch or Bournemouth, or knows someone who does, please drop me a note or message!
