Things have a way of working out, it's hard coming out of a loving ward to something and different. I use to live on the Oregon coast, it's hard to break in to a small community, but not impossible, just bring your love and your spirit with you when you go.

No worries.  It's sometimes tough to see kindness and compassion in this world today, and I too was very independent (still am, but older now!) at your age.  Feels like having lots of parents at this point, right? And you're not sure what to do with all that advice.  Sounds like you are well, though, and strong in your faith, so just remember that you can reach out, in your need as well as to help others in their need (and needs are not always monetary, but sometimes for advice or just a listening ear), and I think you will be very comfortable in the church after a bit of time.  It was different for me too.  I came from a less than supportive life into the church and it took a while to get used to the love and concern.  But it's not a comment on your value or worth, except that people really do want the best for you - their sister and your little one.  Take care.
