I speak English fluently, I can read and write Spanish, but struggle with speaking and understanding others as they speak. I'm also learning to read Japanese some.

I also speak Math, not fluently yet but I'm getting there.

I love to read and have to many books to list here. I prefer science fiction/fantasy stories and stories that are impossible to happen in the real world. I use books to escape the real world. I just recently finished reading the Twilight Saga by Stephanie Meyers. That series of books is a great collection and I highly recommend for anyone who likes books with a happy ending and don't mind a little romance without the yucky mushy stuff. I also recently read Catagory 7 by Bill Evans. At first Catagory 7 seemed like it could be reality until I got more into it and realized there is no way it could be reality. It was about man creating and controlling the weather. My major complaint about Catagory 7 was all the language. There was way too much bad language that I'm tempted to take the book and sell it to Half-Price Books.

I like to sew - usually clothing. I also like to bake - my favorite is trying to bake something new that I never baked before. As mentioned, I can play the piano and I love to just sit and play the piano for fun and relaxation. My other form of relaxation is riding my bike. I live about 9 miles from where I work part time and I've been trying to ride my bike as often as I can to and from work.

Just a little about me, my name is Debi. I'm a mother of a beautiful 8 year old girl. She was born in March 2000. I'm married to a wonderful man. We had a civil marriage in June 2000 by the bishop of our ward at that time, and we were sealed as an eternal family in May 2006 in the Houston Temple. I've been a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints my entire life with about one inactive year and a few partly active years. I am currently a very active member. I play the piano for the Relief Society in my ward. My husband and I try to attend the temple at least once a month as our date night. That means instead of a movie, nice dinner, or anywhere else that costs money, we spend our monthly date night with the Lord at the temple.

Hmmm, some other stuff about me... I have one dog, a female Jack Russel Terrier mix - named Celest Angel. I have three cats: a female solid black DSH - named Mystic Midnight, a male half Russian Blue, half DLH - named Lightening Storm, and a male tabby - named Thunder Cloud. I also have a parrakeet - named Melody Notes.

Also, I am a college student working on my bachalor's degree in Mathematics 5-12. When I'm done, I'll be certified to teach math to grades 5 through 12. I want to teach Algebra and eventually Calculus at the high school level.

You had a very powerful testimony. I felt the spirit as I read it. I especially liked the bikeride analogy. Thank you VERY much for your testimony.
