LDS Valley,  I did a search for missionaries and found your blog with a missionary wanting to return.  I truly appreciated your insight and councel given to the young man.  Some of your words were just the ones I was needing to say  to my own son when he is struggling while on his mission.  I especially liked the stone analogy.  Thanx. 


 


Now a question for you.  My husband served his mission in the Halifax/Nova Scotia mission.  He spent a majority of his time at St Johns and even helped build the church there.  He and another missionary spent their first Christmas Day in the mission field painting the inside of the church.  Now when he searches the church website he can't find record of a branch or ward in St Johns.  Do you have any information for him?  This has been very troubling to him.   Thanx, From Grateful

In central Alberta we haven't got alot of snow compared to eastern Alberta and Saskatchewan but we have had some very cold temps, -35 lows and -30 highs, but it's supposed to warm up a bit here this week.
