Hello!

I apoligize for the lastness of this response. I don't have much time to be on the computer so please "Beg your pardon". My converstion starts with My wife and I deciding to become foster parents. The girl we were taking in was a girl she knew growing up that had been abused and neglected. She had been institutionized almost her whole young life. My wife had been contacted about being a visiting resource for her and things kinda took of from there. One day I came to realize that taking on a 16 year old girl with severe mental illness was going to be a huge callenge and also that no one (not even the state) wanted to help us along. So I prayed for help. Two days later I met the full time missionaries walking down my street. I decided to meet wih them and quickly realized this was the help I asked for. Iaked my wife to meet with them and she felt the same. I sonn quit smoking and drinking coffee. We met with the missionaries often and were baptized on Apirl 11, 2009 and were confirmed on Easter Sunday. I have to say this is the greatest descion I have ever made. I have made MANY mistakes in my life but this is not one of them. The problems with Brittany haven't gotten all that much better. She has decided to get baptzed as well but she has much work to do before she is ready. What has changed is my abililty to deel with her issues.I know that this post is a little long winded but I'd also like to leave you with my taetimony. I testify that we have a father in heaven who lloves us without end. I testify that love is sacrifice and that his only begotten so Jesus Christ Showed us the ultimate act of love through the attonment so that we can return to our father. I testify that Joseph Smith was a prophet. That have with divine help Found the plates of brass and translated them into the "Book Of Mormon"the truest book on this planet. He was chosen to restore the presihood for us during this last dispensation. I testify that Tomas S. Monson is the profit for this time; here and now. His words will guide us to the will of our father. I hope all this helps. If need more info please feel free to contacted me here or at my email Mac_Dow @Yahoo.com.

Welcome, Future Librarian! It's a great place to work, being surrounded with the magic of words, with ideas, information, opinions, and art. Enjoy your studies; I know you'll enjoy the job!

I hope you feel comfortable here and will share your thoughts and ask questions!

The little I saw of Germany was just beautiful! My maternal grandparents were German - Wichmann? In America: Wickman.
