I'm a new convert and love the Church it has helped me so much. I have been in prison for 5 weeks, which is where i discovered the Book of Mormon after praying for help. I have kicked alcohol and drugs and now am a better person. I want ot serve on a mission one day.

We only have one ward as we are avery small island. Anyway it's not sorted but many of the church are now gathering around and helping me, escially after i had a few drinks on Saturday which i am now ashamed of. I will come back stronger and more faithful after this. It's a trail i am being put though and so far satan has won but i shall come back. Thank you guys!

I don't know your history or why people said what they did, but I'm thinking that they are trying to do what they feel is right (even if they might be misguided). Could you talk to your bishop and perhaps find a singles ward to attend? Remember to put your trust in God, not man. Through this whole ordeal you need to study your scriptures, pray, submit yourself to the will of the Lord. Whatever we go through in life there are lessons to learn. Prayerfully discern what the Lord would like you to learn and commit yourself to learn it and develop a Christ-like character. The road might me long and difficult, but you will never be alone.
