English of course. I also speak SOME German, as I lived in Germany for 4 years (Army brat). That's actually where I was baptized.
BOOKS
I like Harlequin Romance, self help books, psychology books, how-to's, etc.
MUSIC
I mostly prefer music from the 1960's to the 1990's. But there are some recent songs I like. I really love 60's Motown artists the most!
MOVIES
Too many to list, but I like comedies, romance, a few actions (depends on the plot).
HOBBIES
I love to go out and have fun, and sometimes just vedge out at home. Write, read novels, make music videos on my computer, sing, play piano, cook, design and construct 18th century gowns (yeah, I'm a weirdo), chat in forums, collect ancient coins, listen to music, travel (when possible), go to the movies... Lots of different things.
"Rolling In The Deep" By Adele-- There's a fire, starting in my heart. Reaching a fever pitch, and its bringing me out the dark. Finally, I can see you crystal clear. Go ahead and sell me out, and I'll lay your **** bare. See how I'll leave, with every piece of you. Don't underestimate the things that I will do. There's a fire starting in my heart, reaching a fever pitch and its bringing me out the dark. The scars of your love remind me of us. They keep me thinking that we almost had it all. The scars of your love, they leave me breathless. I can't help feeling... We could have had it all. Rolling in the deep. You had my heart inside your hand, and you played it to the beat. Baby, I have no story to be told. But I've heard one on you, and I'm gonna make your head burn. Think of me in the depths of your despair, making home down there, as mine sure won't be shared. The scars of your love remind me of us. They keep me thinking that we almost had it all. The scars of your love, they leave me breathless. I can't help feeling... We could have had it all. Rolling in the deep. You had my heart inside your hand, and you played it to the beat. We could have had it all. Rolling in the deep. You had my heart inside your hand, and you played it with a beating. Roll your soul through every open door. Count your blessings, to find what you look for. Turn my sorrow into treasure gold. You'll pay me back in kind, and reap just what you've sown.
ABOUT ME
Well what can I say, I'm just not phony. My family joined the LDS church when I was about 8 years old and that's when I was baptized. But we were only active for like 2 or 3 years. We were rpetty much non-denominational after that. I later read the Muslim Quran, and I saw a lot of truth in it, because they believe int he same God (the God of Abraham). And they have all the same prophets and messengers (Adam, Noah, Abraham, Moses, Joseph, Jesus--- all those same stories are in their book). I just really liked how their book was written in such a way that the scientists cannot pick it apart, and there were tons of scientific facts in it, which people back then could not have known. So obviously it came from God, and we were meant to prove it all later, thus proving God said it. Now I am engaged to an AMAZING Egyptian man, who works in a private school as a high school English teacher. He is very kind, gentle, and romantic. LOVE HIM! and he shares my religion of choice, so that's a plus.
I'm pretty straight-up. I'm not a party animal ( meaning I don't hang out in bars, or abuse substances). But I'm not a total goody-goody either. I've had life experiences, I've done some stupid things before-- but I'm still a really good person. I was born in 1981. Grew up in a military family and lived in a lot of different places, including Europe. I divorced my first husband, because he would not stop gambling, no matter what kind of help I tried to get him. I have no kids yet (thank goodness no innocent kids were in the middle of all that! lol). I'm just here to chat it up about life, and God. But I'm not interested in converting anyone, or being converted back.
