I speak pretty much just English, though I know a smattering of French, German and Spanish from my school days.

In addition to the scriptures, I love all kinds of books. I recently finished Stephanie Meyer's Twilight series and The Host. I'm currently reading The Letters of Marjorie Pay Hinckley, as well as several other books. I'm also working on Elizabeth George's Inspector Lynley mystery series, and I love the PBS movies they've made from them with Nathaniel Parker and Sharon Small. I really love mysteries, in fact. I'm also reading through Anne Perry's Thomas and Charlotte Pitt series and Tony Hillerman's Navajo mysteries.

I love lots of different kinds of music. I especially like Christian, Country, Celtic and New Age. The only types of music I really don't like are Rap, Hip-Hop, Heavy Metal, and similar types (though if the song is right, I'm willing to break the "genre barrier").

I love a wide variety of movies as well, from Church productions like The Testaments of One Fold and One Shepherd to classics like the Rex Harrison version of The Ghost and Mrs. Muir. I recently saw the fantasy film Stardust and really enjoyed it. I like creepy, suspenseful films as long as they aren't too gory. I also like action films like Transformers. I LOVED The Dark Knight!

In addition to spending time with my family, I love to read and spend time outdoors. I love to hike and visit the countryside. I also love animals. We have quite a few of our own, and I enjoy them immensely. I'm currently a college student studying Biology with an emphasis on Zoology and Wildlife Management. I hope to work with wildlife someday.

Hello everyone! I'm a married Mormon mama of three beautiful daughters (ages 11, 16 and 17). I live in Arizona. Right now we are in the Phoenix area, but eventually my husband and I hope to move to the Snowflake area or other small town in northern Arizona, after the kids are grown and out of school.

My husband and I have been married for 4 years now. We were sealed to each other and my daughters on our one-year anniversary in the Mesa, Arizona temple. I've been a member of the church for 14 years and my husband has been a member for 4 years.

I'm currently going to school for a degree in Biology with a specialization in Zoology and Fish and Wildlife Management. Looks like I'll be done in May 2011!

Hi,

I just wanted to let you know that my son who commited suicide had his Temple Baptism done on Feb 9th.   The Boston Temple is right next to our Ward Building...how wonderful it is to have a Temple right here!

If you go to my page I posted a Testimony about it. He came to me in a vivid dream (my Bishop calls it a Revelation) about 2-3wks before the Baptism was done. He was waiting for it & was gettting impatient. Your messages of love & support ment so much to me when I first posted on this site. You really helped me...& ny husband (I shared your posts with him). Thank you for taking the time to reply, for caring, for your support & prayers. We are "Active" again...are finally healing & even able to socialize & sometimes laugh. We have the MOST wonderful Bishop, RS President...well everyone in our Ward has just been SO supportive. You were right NO ONE judged us for being "inactive" or was in ANY way negative about our son committing suicide. ALL we've received are love, prayers, support, compassion, companionship. EVEYTHING we needed to recover from our grief & guilt was waiting for us at our Ward...& from people like you on this site. THANK YOU!

BTW...how is your daughter doing?
