WYSIWYG. Straight-shooter. Just an ordinary guy in extraordinary circumstances. Looking for people young enough to keep up with me. I'm well-traveled and well-read and like to hang around people who can at least relate to that, even if they haven't been to the same places or read the same books.

I'm a throwback to a simpler time. Not a Luddite, but I recognize that technology is not the end-all, be-all. I'm more interested in people than things, and I lead a life as devoid as possible of contrivances.

I'm also a study in contrasts. I have a serious side, but also a silly side. You never know which one will pop up next. But be warned: I can be a real smart-@$$. (Better a smart-@$$ than a dumb-@$$, though. Right?)

I'm also very protective of my friends, especially those of a female persuasion. I have no problem with tracking down miscreants and having a little wall-to-wall counseling session involving a little creative work with a car battery, some jumper cables, a barbeque fork, and some jalapeƱos.

I'm an INTJ on the Myers-Briggs test.
