I grew up in San Antonio, Texas. I went to Rudder Middle School, then Marshall High school, NESA and then Robert E Lee High school. I went on to do a service year with City Year. I was a camp counselor at Camp Starfish in 2000. I started at San Antonio College in the Fall of 2000. I studied Sign Language Interpreting, but then after an illness in 2004 and missing a year of school, I changed my major to Music, my first love. I left Texas in January 2006 after I met my husband in 2005. We live in Orlando, Florida where he has lived for the last 19 years. We were married in August 2006. I love being married. Our marriage is so amazing. I would say close to perfect :). Communication, I believe is the key to everything in a marriage. He is perfect for me! I got pregnant last year(on our wedding day!), but it ended in an ectopic pregnancy at 3 months. It would have been a cool story to tell our kids, but oh well. That experience has been the most difficult for me. I think it is something you can't just 'get over'. Even though many people tell me I should be over it by now. We plan to wait to have kids after we move and possibly after I finish my degrees in vocal performance. I'm auditioning for 2 music schools up in Ohio. If accepted, we would move in the summer of 2008. I'm really excited for us to get our education done. Jason(my husband) has his BA in psychology. He plans to get his PsyD, which is a doctorate in psychology. He wants to have his own practice as a clinical psychologist and I want to sing opera as a profession.
We are enjoying our lives...even the trials.
