I listen to lots of different types of music. My favorite genre is oi and streetpunk, followed closely by "old school" punk, rockabilly and psychobilly, then "roots" country & honkytonk, oldies, southern rock, hard rock, some metal, bluegrass, and classical. I also like some ska and reggae, and a lot of Christian music but what I listen to usually just depends in the mood I'm in at the time.

I'm 27, married and female. I have worked as a prison guard for 6 years, and part-time as a Realtor for 2 years, and will be moving over to real estate full time by spring, so I can spend more time with my baby.
I've never been LDS, but keep finding myself drawn to the church, and have had several times when I've been questioning my own beliefs and ran into something LDS-related. It seems to be happening again, so I am trying to take it more seriously this time around.
Right now, I'm reading the Book of Mormon on my own, along with the Bible, and following along in the seminary study guide, to supplement my learning. I will probably take the discussions sometime after I've read through it on my own a time or two, because I am stubborn and skeptical like that.
I am a Christian, but some of my beliefs are out of line with mainstream Christianity, so I've been looking for a church "home" for a long time. I think most churches are corrupt and love money more than truth, and am looking for one that is not that way.
I am expecting a baby in March 2010, and would like to have a good church to raise him in. My husband is non-religious, and is hostile toward most Christian churches, but is OK with our son being raised Christian. I hope he will also attend with me, if I find a church that is not the same as the ones that have left such a bitter taste in his mouth.
