Hi Susie!  I have done some fostering...same problem as you; too hard to give them up! I have a girlfriend in Florida that does dog rescue a lot.  She is able to let them go, though. 

I used to raise Parakeets; had 200 in my Aviary.  Some Canaries, also. I actually taught my pet parakeet, Igor, to talk...LOL  I loved it when there were a lot of babies. Baby birds are so helpless. The way we humans mistreat/neglect/abuse animals is horrible.  It just breaks my heart.


I will let you know what dog I end up adopting...

P.S. I got to visit some friends in the adelaide  back in May of 2006. They live in Summertown. I also have a sister-in-law whos parents live in Adelaide. I had a meal with them and they showed me the temple in Adelaide. They are temple workers. I think there last name in Stabler. I hope to come back to vist there one day.
