     I've never had the opportunity to visit PEI myself, but there is a distant cousin who still lives up there.  His name is Dave Hunter.  He and his wife, Linda, have at least one son that I know of (Jeffery) and live (the last I was aware) in Vernon, PEI.  Their full address is:  Orwell Cove RRt #2, Vernon, PEI, Canada, COA 2EO  (That last part is the zip code.)


     I haven't been in contact with them for a while.  We were trying to work on some genealogy research for a while, but have lost touch.  Sorry.  But they may be able to answer some of the questions you have about cost of living and such.
