English, some Spanish and "dock" talk

Hmm.... I assume that this is what I have read not written.

I have a real passion for Science Fiction! E. E. "Doc" Smith and the Lensman series, Robert Heinlein, Allen Dean Foster, Orson Scott Card, Larry Niven, to mention just a few of my favorites. All of these authors show how we can overcome almost any obsticle in life.

Classic Rock 'n' Roll, Country, Gene Autry and Roy Rogers, Mormon Tabernacle Choir, Jazz, R&B, Classical..... Almost any real music.

Action, westerns, kid's movies

Family History, Freemasonry, Web page development, Church research

I am a retired Coast Guard Warrant Officer. In my 24 year career, I have searched for the true Church. Amazingly enough, I have been in its shadow since 1984! My house was a stone's throw from the local Ward Chapel. The missionaries considered my neighborhood too close to do any door to door teaching. It wasn't until I called in for a video on how families can be together forever that the "boys", as we call them, dropped by. This was in 1999. I had already ordered and received the Book of Mormon. And, I had actually read quite a bit before the Boys brought the full Church into our lives. The lessons and Baptisms are a full and crazy story that I will have to dwell on later. Suffice to say that Shirley, my wife of 38 years, and I were Baptized and Confirmed in June of 2000. June of 2001, we received our Endowments and were Sealed together in Temple!
