English and a little Spanish

Not manny other than reading the four standard works and some support books.

Bluegrass, Country, Oldies, Classical & some Salsa

Haven't been in years but I have about 300 movies on cd in my home. My friends come here to see movies.

I like deep sea fishing And motorcycle riding but don't get to do either much anymore. I do spend a lot of time playing with kids here in Mexico where I live and I keep coming up with games for them to play so they keep coming around wanting to play. I guess my main interest is in trying to be a good roll model to kids.

I first became a member in the summer of 1969 in Dallas, Texas. A few months later I moved to Phoenix, Arizona. Right away they put me in charge of singles for the ward, then the stake and finally the region. It kept me busy for years. Then I moved to St. George, Utah for a while and finally to Southern California. I was a singles rep here too but my favorite job was working the nursery for 3 years with the little ones. I could tell stories about them all day. I always tried to have my hometeaching done and be there when they needed me, but nothing spactular to say about me.

I don't know what to say here really. Today is Sunday Oct.19. I went to church, spent most of it with the missionaries. Had a visit with the Bishop. During the week I usually am the taxi for the missionaries if they need me. On most sundays I pick up the missionaries and we go to collect investigators. It isn't a calling but just me trying to help out. Here in Mexico so manny of the members are too poor to afford extra gas or even a car. I sell used Volvos so I always have something to run around in and I enjoy helping out. Most of my friend are not Mormon and we have some fiests usually on Saturdays. Most of them are for Cumplanios(birthdays) and we have a pinata and all the trimming. As the fiesta progresses the men break out the beer and get drunk. The women usually don't drink but they notice I go with the kids and play with them and I have been told the wemen say there is only one good men in the fiesta because I will not drink. I keep asking for them to come visit my church but catholics are stubborn. However, I know some are getting curious and this day one friend told me his girlfriend went to a mormon church today. So maybe that tells you something about me. I also travel a lot. I'll be in LA all this week and hope to go to Phoenix, Arizona soon for a week and a week in Kentucky.
