I'm really limited in the books I choose to read, most of which are horror, and true crime. It sometimes makes my husband nervous. I also enjoy humor, especially the books of Christopher Moore, which are probably not on any "good" LDS booklist, but are absurd stories about really likable people and laugh out loud funny. My husband doesn't get them, either.
Oh, and most Church books I've read are pretty good, too.

All over the board from Baroque, World (Irish, Aftrican, Andean, etc.), LDS Contemporary, New Age, Folk, Country, Rock from all ages, to the Gorillaz ("Hong Kong" just blew me away the first time I heard it!). Anyone finding my iPod would probably think I'm odd. Well, they'd know I'm odd.

Just about anything except:
Musicals of any type, war, comedy involving any non-LDS theme like drinking or sex, and anything with either Chuck Norris, Sylvester Stallone, Jean Claude VanWhatever, and the like.
I'm still hoping someone will revive Mystery Science Theatre 3000.

I love to cook, especially any type of baking. I also love to knit, and am good at it. I stick with socks, hats and scarves because of the instant gratification factor (I've done it enough a pair of socks is 2-3 nights knitting tops). I have a digital SLR camera (a Christmas present to myself) and the computer programs and knack to do some really cool things. I also love to tie flies and fish, as well as camping. Much of my time is spent chasing after two puppies, one Jack Russell, the other Bull and keeping them out of the way of our old JRT. They are now my kids and I have pictures of them in my camera to show off.

Hi, I've been sealed to my darling husband for 26 years. I no longer work outside the home, unless you count caretaker for my MIL as needed and baby sitting the 2 grandkids every Friday. I have Fibromyalgia, which takes up some of my time (days). I'm inactive in the Church, being just immature enough to have had my feelings hurt and not wanting to go through all of that again. And yes, the same people are in the ward. I have one son, happily married for over 5 years so far, and two grandkids, one of each. He is no longer LDS, but holds to the LDS values he grew up with. He would probably be temple worthy when he comes back, which I know he will, given God's blessings and time.
