Traveler,
This is a great video on Temples by Mormons Made Simple. I think it will really help answer a lot of common questions about the Temple. Please share this video with your friends. Mormon Temples Made Simple

I have never met someone that will drink beer or a regualr basis that does not contain any alcohol.  Therefore the logic is simpel transitivity - If the only beer they drink has alcohol and they do not consume anything that tast like beer (unless it has alcohol) then I assume they are after the alcohol and not the tast.  What a person does speaks so laud and clear to me I seldom pay attention to what they say - unless what they say is in complete agreement with what they are doing.

As a side note - I do think you would be a rather interesting person to get to know

I've tried non alcohol beer. It does not taste the same. There is a taste difference between diet coke and regular coke. Most people don't get it, but I do. I have a very sensitive palette. Now the problem is as well, is that there are many varieties of beer. Lager, bitter, ale, stout etc etc etc and many different brands and recipes. So it's not just a case of switching to a "non-alcoholic beer" because quite often, the favourite brand of beer is not available in a non-alcohol version.

So you have hundreds of brands and flavour of regular beer and only two or three non-alcohol beer that tastes awful. I'll stick with the different flavours thank you. You only think the logic is travesty because you think all beer tastes the same, even non-alcohol beer. It's also the wrong thing to do - assume. You heard the saying?

Now if you were to talk about Vodka, that I would agree is pointless. Unless you drink it neat (where it is horrible), when you mix it with something else like cola, you can't taste it. So there's no point to Vodka apart from getting drunk.

Therefore, I don't touch it. I tried a little bit once, but I don't get it and won't go there again.

As far as alcohol is concerned - I believe someone when they say they drink it because of how it effect them.  For tasts?  Don't believe it - simple scientific experiment - take away the alcohol and suddenly no one buys it.  I know there is the 1 in a million exception.  It is just that I have never met one of the exceptions.

You should meet me then. Im a one in a million exception. I must be after reading some of the posts some of the lager louts post elsewhere about how it makes them feel. Doesn't make me feel anything except the same. And I certainly don't like my face feeling numb or getting tired. Take away the alcohol, Im pretty much the same behaviour. I can't drive a car, but Im still a nice guy.

I've cut back on alcohol recently, I've tried to see if I can enjoy myself just as much on soft drinks, and I can, and my friends support me. So I get defensive when someone tries to suggest I have no self control or problems with my social circle.

Meet me, and I promise you will see a one in a million exception that does like the taste and not the effect.

Don't get what you're saying though. Take away the alcohol and no one will buy it????
