Things have a way of working out, it's hard coming out of a loving ward to something and different. I use to live on the Oregon coast, it's hard to break in to a small community, but not impossible, just bring your love and your spirit with you when you go.

Thanks, I definately did enjoy my sunday in the boonies and met some wonderful people, they were a lot more open and friendly, which I was so greatful for. I appreciate the advice and I'll continue to stay optimistic, because at the end of the day I'm not going for them, but for the Big Guy...

Thanks for your comment on my blog. Your friend sounds exactly what I'm talking about . . . sometimes it's a thought to escape pain and bad situations . . .  sometimes it's much more. I'm so glad she went into the hospital and got help..

You know, I think you are an extremely interesting person. We seem to have similar tates in books, some experiences, etc. I was very surprised you'd read One Hundred Years of Solitude, becuase NO ONE I know has ever read that. Actually the book on my list was Love in the Tme of Cholera . . but Marqez is great.

Take care, and write when you feel like it, unless you feel like preaching. hehehe

mindfulness of breathing, we all should practice meditation on the onesness of breath. The night Jesus went out in the garden and bled for all mankind. Now that's service. How did you come to finding this site. It took me ten years. Weclome aboard.

thank you for your kind words of welcome!  i cannot remember how i found this site.  i, of course, am buddhist, but i have lived among mormons most of my life.  i find them to be the most genuine, remarkable, kind, loving people.  it is a pleasure to be here and to walk this journey together with all of you.

Hello,

I am not a captain.  I use it to remind me of my biggest hereo in the Book of Mormon, Captain Moroni.

Thanks,
