yes it does indeed lol. I am very happy that they will accept me even though I have to do more tests than people without Diabetes. I really hope my first posting is not in the middle of no where. I have a buddy his friend is up in the Arctic and every couple of weeks they fly them closer to civilization for rest. The shifts could be a pain, but then again civil service is challenging and rewarding. So from some of the posts I have read you are in the technical field?

Diabetes sucks. But thats good at least you can try out for the rcmp. Ive worked in some areas where thay needed relief work for non police work when I was working for the commissionaires. Only downside I can think of working in civil service is the rotating 12 hour shifts.

yeah I really liked it there. Well actually I am going to Carleton University this fall to study Psychology. I would of joined the military but I found out I had diabetes last year so that messed those plans up. So now I plan on joining the RCMP :)

Aurorasungem,

Thanks for offering emotional support.

BW, you have heard the term "invisable" I do feel like it at church when people just pass right by me at church and do not acknolage my existance. Why is it when one moves or is asked to attend another because of a ward boundry change no one calls to say hi from the old ward? We did not move. I bumped into one member who was from our old ward and worried about us. My wife hated the change. She was a life long member of her old ward and now has not attended in 1.5 years.

Me, havent been there in six weeks. We have had no calls from anyone. I could have been killed in a car accident and had a funeral and no one here would have never known because no one had the inclination to visit or call.

Hope you understand :)
