Is the Book of Mormon Really an Ancient Book?
Posted On 06/18/2013 20:34:21 by RipplecutBuddha
I recently posted a response in the forums regarding the historical authenticity of the Book of Mormon. In it, I cited a work written in 1997 by Brother David Coles of West Virginia. I provided a link to his work in the thread, but I wanted to provide the text itself here. So, for those interested, I post the following. Enjoy. The Many

As a revert (one who was baptized Catholic but never practiced his faith until coming back in much later) I was enthralled by the vast array of philosophical views from such literary giants as St. Thomas Aquinas and St. Augustine, to name just two.

As I'm reading LDS literature I keep asking myself: is there a LDS philosophy? Does the... Read More
