Longer time...better conversion?

To show true conversion to God and the Lamb, do I need to sit and think about following them for years?

When I served a mission I was confronted by this thinking quite often. Choices

We make choices all the time. Some are significant and have severe repercussions. I personally think the worst feeling I have ever felt is regret. The reason I think that this feeling is so poignant is because I could have done something different to prevent the terrible feeling. In a broad sense, I think sin is the collection of all choices that will lead to regret. I wrote a sonnet that shares some feelings about choices and regret.

              Currently in my engineering class we are discussing toxicology. There are some interesting theories on safe dosages for certain compounds to be ingested. Here I am again with yet another deep thought. Picture this... you are alone in the desert and a stranger comes up to you and offers you coins or stones...
