3 Books of Enoch
Posted On 05/08/2012 14:37:35 by
I've read plenty about the first book of Enoch, and rightly so, as it was part of the found Dead Sea Scrolls, and obviously, Joseph Smith had some insight into it, in his lifetime. Doing for Our Kindred Dead What they Cannot do for Themselves

The New Testament talks a lot about how important it is to do the work needed to aid in the exaltation of those who died having not recieved the opportunity to hear the gospel.&nbs... Read More

The dilemma of exclusivity solved
Posted On 12/10/2008 14:43:33 by Jonathan_A
In Mark 16:15-16 it states, "And he (Christ) said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.  He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned."
This passage shows the importance of spreading the gospel message throughout all the world, but it also points out that those not baptized into the Church of Christ cannot be sa... Read More
