No Good Reason To Doubt

Sitting in church last week, I began thinking about something our last stake president used to speak about. He told us that there is very little that he knows. He doesn't know God lives. He doesn't know Jesus is our Savior. He doesn't know the Book of Mormon is true or that this church is God's church. He does, however, believe these things, and that is enough for him (and, apparently, for the Lord, since he was called to be a stake president.)

Miracles: to believe or not believe

Faith-promoting stories have really hurt my faith in miracles. I used to love to listen to any story about miraculous things happening, but because most of them are rumors, lies, made-up stories, I have turned into a bit of a cynic. To make matters worse, the prophets say the only reason miracles wouldn't be present in someone's life is if they don't believe they can be. Not good! Believer-turned-cynic +no-faith-no-miracles.
