Modesty in Swimwear

I have read several posts concerning Modest swimwear.  I believe in modesty and practicality.

 

For example, while swimming or getting and in and out of the water I appreciate wearing a "speedo" type brief swimming suit verses a trunk style swimming suit, I do so for the following reasons:

1. Having low body fat I get cold easily and wearing a "speedo" I do not get as cold because it retains less water.

2. I chafe much less with a "speedo" type suit.

Riddle me this,

I am wondering what makes wearing a bikinis okay?  I know it's a strange question but hear me out.

I understand that we're aiming for modesty while still feeling good about ourselves, which is great and more power to you.  But with the tops women wear to the beach improved to tankinis (good job girls) to show that it's riske to wear two-piece suits because it shows off the stomach and the chest too much.  I think it's appropriate to look down... If you girls have been having a difficult time finding a Modest one-piece bathing suit, or even a Modest tankini - you might want to consider shopping online for your next bathing suit. There are quite a few companies now that are starting to listen to what girls who choose modesty want - and finally they are making Modest cloths and bathing suits, that are really really cute.
