After reading from the Book of Mormon in Second Nephi I think I improved my understanding of the need for Opposition and Adversity in each life.  If I'm wrong in my assumption, I'm sure some good person will enlighten my mind and help me understand it better, but as it is this is one simple way I can explain the need for Opposition and Adversity in life.

For the last month, my ward assistant executive secretary has called me and asked me and my wife to say the opening and closing prayer at sacrament meeting but something was always coming up, whether a family reunion or some other event.
