I have been thinking lately about respect. Yesterday my family got together to visit a museum, on the way out of the museum my mother offered the front passenger seat to my husband because he has very long legs. My husband’s response was very sweet, “No Mom, that is your seat, I would never take that from you.” In my family when I was growing up my mom would usually sit in the front seat and yet as time went on and we got bigger my brother beg... I was recently looking through pictures of my old friends from high school and reminisced about good times we have had. While I look back on those times fondly, many of those friendships have grown distant over the years and I feel no strong desire to rekindle them. I am not a Jazz Fan and certainly not a Laker fan but come on, Utah is supposed to be "Mormon country." Aren't we all a... Read More
I guess things were kind of hitting me today, as people are arguing over how best to have a relationship for long term commitment. I love to see people of all walks at least get along. I have known both sides of the fence when it comes to rich versus poor. It is never easy when people are looked down on for not knowing how to behave at a ritzy social gathering, just because they have never had the opportunity to learn how to. Manners and etiquit are all good things, but they... Read More
