Finding faith

I was sitting here one day typing into the computer when i thought what gives me faith in christ and well for me as a convert i thought hard. I supose i could list them but then that would be boring then i thought well there was one defining moment in my life that gave me faith that he lives and is there to bring our prayers to heavenly father.

To journal or not to journal is not the question.

Work for the dead

I understand the church does a great deal of work for the dead, though I don't understand why?  Can somebody, preferably an elder of the church, shed some light on this subject.  I am not in a position to judge the church for it's practices and I am far from perfect, so it bothers me a great deal to know that the church may be responsible for baptizing my ancestors without my knowldge, and quite possibly causing families to separate in some strange way.  The intention of...
