Types and Shadows: Intimations of Divinity
Posted On 11/12/2009 23:35:47 by noblegas8

As a scientist (rather someone studying to become one), it is sometimes difficult for me to understand art—especially modern art. However, in a recent presentation and tour of the BYU Museum of Art exhibit Types and Shadows: Intimations of Divinity by Rita Wright, I was amazed at how I was able to find meaning in many of the works presented. A Welcoming Spirit

He not only brought souls to the church, he valued tho... Read More

The significance of the Law is not just in its content; the significance is also derived from the manner in which the revelation was received. By understanding how this revelation was received, we can learn... Read More

Let us be Uncommon
Posted On 10/31/2009 11:43:30 by Gretchen

Here's a song that I once heard on the radio, and I think there is truth to it. Here are the lyrics, which I don't own, Greg Long and Kristy Starling own them. The bold words are words that you should especially read.

What if there's something bigger for me out there
Than the comfort of a life on this middle ground
I've played it safe but now I can't help but wonder
If maybe I've been missing out
