In these tough economic times, it can be difficult to pay a full tithe. Believe me; I would know. I have changed jobs a few times within the past year for financial reasons and I don't like to brag about that. I would much rather stay at a job for a long time, but I don't regret the decisions I have made.

I have been a member of the church for almost 18-years and I have struggled for all those years to pay my tithing...being a single Mum I had a hard time paying Tithing without guilt because I knew if I paid my Tithing I would not be able to purchase food, pay bills, etc. Last year when the Bishop came to me about teaching seminary he asked me why I still had not been to the temple. When I was taking lessons with the missionaries before I joined the Church one of the things we went over was Tithing. I did not then nor do have a problem with tithing.
