My Beliefs

A Few of My Beliefs as a Latter-Day Saint Girl I am a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. I believe it to be the true church on this Earth. I believe the Lord hears and answers my prayers and I am able to receive personal revelation. I believe that our church has a true prophet that is a mouth piece for the Lord, named Thomas S. Monson. I also believe that the Book of Mormon is another true testament of Christ.

Ministering to the Single Adults - Response Requested

I don't know about any of you, but one of the most difficult challenges that we face in our Stake as a whole is finding ways to minister to the Single Adults (30+), both active and non-active. We have tried to have activities as a Stake geared for the Single Adults with little success rate. Usually those who participate are the ones that always participate. I direct your thoughts to that favorite scripture at Luke 2:52.  "And Jesus increased in wisdom and stature, and in favour with God and man." This is a simple scripture, and we may say 'Of course!'  But it is an effective checklist too. Have I become wise because of my childhood? Have I reached an abundant physical potential? This is a quote from a book titled Changes That Heal, written by Dr. Henry Cloud. "The Bible says that we were created 'in the image of God' . . .
