Challenges

It seems life tends to throw you curves sometimes when you least expect it.  I have been in for my stomach again to see the doctors, as it seems I am having trouble eating meat of any kind.  I have so much going on around me that I do not even know where to begin.

I got my first calling today at church. They call it young women/relief society mentor. I got a call from the executive secretary this morning and he asked me if i could come in early to church to speak with a member of the bishopric. My initial though was to slam down the phone and forget it ever happened, but i accepted and got to church early. But its all good because after sitting down with one of the counselors in the bishopric, and acceping the call, i realized that this calling really won... Read More

Temple dedication thoughts

Have you ever looked at something one way one moment, then entirely another the next?  I think things often change the most when you least expect them to.  I recently attended the dedication ceremony for the twin falls Idaho temple.  I sat and listened as the prophet and leader of our church, talked of his loving wife, who even though she has been very ill, always packed the bags specially for him.  It was touching to see just how deep ran that love for her, and the concern h...
