Honoring Husbands

I have noticed for quite a while that there are often discussions around how men should honor  their wives and treat them with respect. Love them, put them on a pedastool, all that kind of thing. Which I, as a woman, think is wonderful. I love that my husband adores me and treats me well. But I've also noticed that there seems to be something missing in these talks. What about the reciprocal? Shoes in church

I showered and shaved and adjusted my tie.

I got there and sat in a pew just in time.

Bowing my head in prayer as I closed my eyes,

I saw the shoe of the man next to me touching my own, I sighed.

With plenty of room on either side I thought, "Why must our soles touch?"
