Mema, you're too old for a bike!

I just recently had a birthday. I'm 62 now.   I received some gift cards and money for my birthday, and I spent it a couple of weeks ago on a brand new Mtn Sport 18-gear bike.

Well Saturday was my 38th birthday and it went rather well. We went to see Journey to the Center of the Earth. Great Movie!!  ....

Ok so I have been thinking what have I accomplished in 38 years?

1. I have a new house (3 yrs old and we watched it being built from the ground up) in a great neighborhood.

2. My oldest son got his driver's license

3. I attend church regularly and socialize more than I ever did with them.

Yesterday was my husband's birthday.  All my food plans went great!  I didn't know how much he liked green Jell-O until he told me he begs his mom to make it for Christmas Eve.  He said it tasted exactly like hers and he was surprised because other people have tried to imitate it and it comes out different.  I was proud.  I even ate a couple bites.  My son tried to give his to me and I said, "Uhhhh ... It's That Time of Year Again

My husband's birthday is in less than a week and once again, I'm trying to outdo myself.  I really don't know how this time.  After his lamest birthday ever (we were moving off base and had our white glove test that day), almost his entire family drove up from Utah and Idaho as a surprise the following year.  My mom made up a fake invite for my aunt's surprise party, mailed it to us, I told my husband we were going to it, and I had to be really sneaky to make this possible.&nbs...
