I met a most amazing person!
Posted On 06/06/2008 03:09:57 by wsvirtue
I met another amazing person on lds.net yesteday! It just goes to show that you can't judge a book by it''s cover. At first I thought she was incredibly bitter and rude. When I gave her a chance she turned out to be nothing but wonderful! We had a very nice conversation and talked for hours. I enjoyed it immensely! I think we should never let our feelings of what is prim and proper dictate how we treat others who may not seem to be as primm or proper. For instance, if we saw Jesus dressed as he... Read More

Finding light in dark times
Posted On 05/13/2008 08:37:27 by Aurorasungem
I keep looking at the blogs lately and the atonement and forgiveness has been weighing on my mind.  I have struggled with keeping forgiving my ex for all of the terrible things he does and keeps doing.  I guess sometimes you have to put things in the lords hands.  I have born the brunt of my ex's nastiness for seven long years now.  I would think he would move on and get a life rather than keep finding ways to try to make mine miserable.  I guess it would not get to me s... Opening the locked doors
Posted On 04/27/2008 18:48:52 by Aurorasungem
A friend of mine recently sent me this story.  It was so touching I wanted to share it with all of you.  Sometimes in life it is the littlest things that mean the most, and often get forgotten in the hustle of everyday life.  It is easy to lock a door when sometimes the door needs to be opened to allow the blessings to roll forth on the lives of everyone involved.  It is easy to lose sight of the fact that sometimes you need the little things, the soft word, the kind act, the... The most important thing
Posted On 04/03/2008 09:40:33 by Aurorasungem
I guess things were kind of hitting me today, as people are arguing over how best to have a relationship for long term commitment.  I love to see people of all walks at least get along.  I have known both sides of the fence when it comes to rich versus poor.  It is never easy when people are looked down on for not knowing how to behave at a ritzy social gathering, just because they have never had the opportunity to learn how to.
Manners and etiquit are all good things, but they... Read More

God gave the stars

God gave the stars  by Maraleh

When you look at the stars up above
you can feel the saviors great love
like gems in the velvet of night
so many up sparkling so bright
A sign in the heavens of love from above
A glitter of hope and of love
You see all them sparkling like a diamond in glow
as a reminder that you can sure know
God lives for you and for I
He put reminders on earth and on sky
With the tests all around us
the light surely found us
to... Read More
