Life & Death: Today is The Only Day We Have!
Posted On 08/02/2008 11:03:53 by PapilioMemnon
Death affect us in many different ways: spiritually, emotionally, physically, etc. It's is inveitable: every living thing upon this earth has a time to live. Sometimes death strikes suddenly, and we may be filled with questions; somestimes death is expected, but we are afraid, we suffer with separation, and still, we are filled with many questions and feelings. We are here not by mere chance; it's important to find out why we are here so that we can make wise & correct choices. We can learn... Read More

The Light of Parenting
Posted On 07/23/2008 21:22:43 by SimplifyHeartAndHome
You may have heard Oprah say that parenting is the hardest job in the world. She's right and we parents appreciate that acknowledgement especially in this time on earth when many forces are working against the family. The Atonement Is The Greatest Love Story
Posted On 07/17/2008 13:37:43 by InTheDoghouse
The Atonement in general is such a very large topic to discuss, but I would like to focus primarily in this post on the principle of love that was involved."If sacrifice for others is the highest manifestation of love, then the Atonement of Jesus Christ is the grandest demonstration of love this world has ever known." Tad Callister, The Infinite AtonementThe first aspect of love is that of the love the Savior had for us. His love is not conditional nor is it only temporary. He demonstrated thi... Read More

LDS Seminary Is A Great Way To Start Your Day
Posted On 07/09/2008 20:45:17 by InTheDoghouse
As Seminary is just around the corner, I am brought to reminisce about all the wonderful moments I have had while teaching in that capacity. Early morning Seminary is a really big challenge not only for the youth but for the teacher as well, but the blessings certainly outweigh all the sacrifice. This year the course of study in seminary is the New Testament. I love the teachings of the Savior that can be found there. I have come to realize that the New Testament is a wonderful commentary for... Read More
