I'll admit that I'm very hesitant to share this experience with people. As often enough such experiences can be ridiculed, and torn apart. The Lord counciled us "Do not throw your pearls before swine." As always, my warmest regards to you all.  Fear not that the work that you do here bears fruit.After listening and sharing these past few weeks, I sought out a copy of the Book of Mormon...and then contacted the local missionaries...and followed useful suggestions from site members regarding further information.  Amazing things have happened as a result.

  Ok, let's just say that this year has NOT been the best year for our family- but in some ways it has been. My husband who worked for seven years at a university- giving his EVERYTHING to the university was told that he did not earn tenure because while he was an EXCELLENT professor- his research was lacking. I was writing back today to an e-mail I received from someone who has been a member of the church their entire lives.  In some ways I envy him.  He received a foundation that can be built on from his parents.  He received access to the teachings of the Prophets from the time he was born and he had access to so many peoples testimony.
