Trying to keep up with Emma

One of my most favourite woman to have ever learned about is emma Smith, this woman was and is an incredible example to me.  Several years ago I had the oppertunity to talk in sacrament, the topic was on the women of the church.  I decided to talk about Emma, cause for some reason she pulls on my heart strings.  I did alot of reading up and research, I read the book, Joseph Smith by Lucy Mac Smith, and my mother-in-law gave me the Aug 1992 Ensign, which contained stories and accou... I want to be like Emma Smith

On Monday, my husband and I had the opportunity to go see that movie about emma Smith ("My Story" or something like that) at a local theater. It was wonderful. What I loved most about the movie was that it depicted emma as a woman of incredible faith and strength, but also showed how very human she was. I'm sure she spent more than half the movie crying because of the weight of her burdens and trials, but she faithfully followed Joseph and the instructions of the Lord. One scene in the movie sho...
