D&C 25: ahead of its time

          Last Thursday while I was in my Doctrine and Covenants class we were discussing the social conditions of women when D&C section 25 was revealed through Joseph Smith (1830).  Woman, in general, were treated very poorly by today's standards, none were allowed to vote, and any position that would put a woman in authority over a man was prohibited.  Though what really struck me was the commonly held religious views on woman, such as be...
