This weekend is Stake Conference, the first under our new stake president. Last nights adult session was one of the most powerful I have attended in sometime.  As we entered the chapel we were each given a slip of paper with a name date and place, blue slips for the brothers, and pink for the sisters.  As the 1st speaker came to the podium, about 20 to 25 individuals walked in and made thier way to the stand, we were instructed to look at our names and think about how it would be to kn... Visiting the Past

I wrote in my journal yesterday. Ill copy that here. I noticed a family geneology book[its more of a history] sitting out. I went through it and read a bit of it. It's interesting to ""get to know" your own ancestors. The stories of their lives and their stuggles and triumphs. Most of it seems that most of the things fell into place and there wasn't much oppossition. Those parts probably arn.t recorded as much and all we get are the results.
