The Crisis of Spirituality

         Last Friday I had the opportunity of attending the 37th annual Sperry Symposium held at BYU.  The first session I went to was given by J. Today was a good day. It was thundering this morning when I woke up.  Dark clouds covered the sky outside, and the wind was blowing strongly.  I thought for sure that it would rain on us as we tried to get into the car to head to church.  But it didn't.  I don't think it ever did storm like it looked like it would. I have talked in a previous blog how we have experienced life and growth before we were born here on this earth; and we can plan on the same (life and growth) after we fulfill mortality.  I also presented for your realization that, by accepting the Atonement of Jesus through faith and covenants, we can live today as eternal life even though we are also in the midst of coming up against or passing through a variety of adversity.
