Genesis 21
Posted On 08/01/2008 17:30:49 by MaidservantX
The following passage has been one of my favorites that I turn to from time to time to continue to help me understand my relationship to my Father in heaven as a woman, and most particularly how I might receive revelation from him, and how I might best conduct my life as a daughter of God.  The story, while true, also has a great deal of spiritual information in between the lines.   v15  "And the water was spent in the bottle .. ." v16  "Let me not see the death of the c... Prophets Speak the Will of the Lord & Counsel Us in Truth & Wisdom
Posted On 06/27/2008 15:26:25 by PapilioMemnon
I love this talk by President Eyring; it explains the importance of prophets, and the importance of following the to those who profess to believe. I have sustained several leaders of the church as prophets, seers, and revelators because I believe their were men chosen & called by the Lord to lead us at this time. whether we are teenagers, young adults, or mature men and women. The role
of the Spirit, the Holy Ghost, is essential in every season of our mortal
lives."... Read More

It is important that there is chosen -- or really, discovered -- only one focus for the entire life.  We sta... Read More

Learning and Being Tested Part 3
Posted On 03/07/2008 18:59:35 by MaidservantX
Our Father in heaven -- since he is our Father -- is guiding the development of his children.  That's us!

There is, of course, a gap between where we are now in our growth, and the fulness of our potential.  Our Heavenly Father (and his servants) are interested and busy in leading us to the next step, and step by step, closer to him and closer to our own maturity (exaltation).

I believe that our experiences here on earth are not random, but have been lovingly and in... Read More
