How an Infant Receives Love -- a Lesson for All of Us

So far in contemplating our infancy and how we might base our present lives on it, we have learned four things (from previous blogs). 1.  Receive -- receive gifts, nourishment, knowledge, etc. from heavenly Father and His creation 2.  Be -- instead of 'doing' or 'having'.  God's love is shed upon you simply because you are living.  This worth cannot be earned by us or withdrawn by anyone in heaven or earth. 3.  Body and touch -- be conscious of and rejoice in your muscle... My husband and I were in the car running multiple errands today (exciting I know). We sat quietly in the car, just listening to the radio when I asked him "What are you thinking about?" I don't know what I expected, maybe something about sports, traffic, etc., but instead he said something like, "About how we say things will be better when..." I stopped and thought about it. I realized this last month that the weight of this world we live in can crush the spirit.  Now, I bet when you were in your “young adult” years you thought that the only weights dropped were more like Wile E.
