My journey
Posted On 03/25/2008 19:20:48 by wsvirtue
Seven years ago I started a journey to find the life I abandoned at age 19. I looked t the Lord to heal me with his stripes and to love me with his mercy. I have felt so much pain during this journey, unspeakable pain. I've been at the point where I just wanted to be gone to not feel anything. Recently I've gone through the most pain I've ever felt with my family being broken apart! I have layed on the floor crying uncontrollably, crying to God to ease my burden and to lead my children and I thr... Read More

The Lord is There! By Maraleh
When the whole world falls around you,He is there!
When you don’t know quite what to do,He is there!
When the shadow of the valley
Turns the heart to deep despair,
Look up and look around you,

Look up and raise your voice,
For He is there!
He is th... Read More

Through the eye of the storm

I remember a time when I was little when my family and I went through a tornado.  What struck me the most till this day is just how quiet everything was before it hit.  In the area where we lived at the time, there were lots of crickets, frogs, birds and animals.  That full day before the storm came, not one bird chirped, not one frog or cricket made a sound, and not one animal was to be seen anywhere.  Even the dogs and cats were hiding and not to be found.
I think... Read More

ONe little light

Someone reminded me recently that there is new hope to be found even when it seems all hope is lost.  I went to a funeral yesterday to say goodbye to an old friend, followed by a wedding, an new beginning in life.  It struck me just how often in life people go through both pathways and cannot seem to find which way to turn for answers as to which way to go.
In death there are many left behind, the greif can be overwhelming.  In marriage it is a new beginning with many changes... Read More

One little step more
Posted On 03/03/2008 06:42:19 by Aurorasungem
I have had several people ask me why I have not dated in so long.  I guess it is a bit of a long story, but some stories need to be told, even with the tears that come with them.  Dating for me was never easy.  My experience with men was always nightmare, so I tend to be extremely cautious in just who I date and how.   I was married three times in life.  The first time I was married, I thought it was perfect.  The guy was a returned missionary; he was sweet an...
