I decided to write all the things I am thankful for this year. I am thankful for my family, for the love and support they give me. I am thankful for my kids, I love them a lot and pray for them always. I am thankful for the small things in life that brighten my day. Ok, I need some help on this one: what was it that was misleading that was said about prop 8 that would cause such a rukus? I still don't get it. Why is it that they -meaning same sex couples- need to be 'married'? what is wrong with a civil union when according to the California constitution they get ALL the SAME rights and priveledges (sp) that married couples do. I was listening to the news this morning and caught this troubling flash of news from Obama. I ordinarily do not say much about politics, but this one caught my attention immediately. Obama has said he wants to start a youth civilian security corp on the news. I know that sometimes things are blown out of proportion, but this one needs to be looked at as a matter of caution.
